Hunters and trappers in Nova Scotia will save a total of $530,000 in renewal fees thanks to a deadline extension on wildlife resources cards. The province is giving cardholders at least three more years before a more modern certification system replaces the old card system. No matter what date is printed on a card it will remain valid until Dec. 31, 2015.
