Early Childhood Development Services provides funding resources and supports to programs that deliver services to families and children. This includes regulated child care, early intervention and early childhood education training.

- Child Care Directory
The Government of Nova Scotia licenses child care facilities throughout the province. This directory lets you search for facilities by name and/or location, and shows whether a facility currently meets its licensing requirements. - Finding Child Care

This program assists eligible families with their child care expenses to enable them to work, pursue employment, attend school, and cope with family crisis. - Supported Child Care
The goal of this program is to assist in the creation or enhancement of existing inclusive child care programs for young children. - Early Intervention Program
These programs offer specialized services to families of children up to six years old who are at risk for, or have a diagnosis of developmental delay.
