April 4, 2013 The NSCAF and Data Locator server maintenance complete. Both the NSCAF and Data Locator server maintenance has been completed and both applications are back on line. Please notify geoinfo@gov.ns.ca if you encounter any issues with these applications.
   
April 8, 2013 Nova Scotia High Precision Network (NSHNPN) monument data and sketches are now available through DataLocator. This new online service will provide users with greater access to coordinate data from your office and in the field. http://gis8.nsgc.gov.ns.ca/DataLocator31ASP/Search.aspx?typeofaction=login

Amherst Land Registration Office, closed until Tuesday, September 4th.

The Amherst Land Registration Office on Havelock Street Amherst will be closed until Tuesday, September 4th as a result of a fire in the vicinity of that building.

As a result, Land Registration staff will work from the Access Nova Scotia Office located at the Superstore plaza at 126 South Albion Street, Amherst. Document drop off should be reverted to that location until 4:30pm on Friday. Credit and debit card services are not available for in-person Land Registration transactions until the office on Havelock St reopens. Cash, cheques and money orders are accepted.

The Land Registration office on Havelock Street is expected to re-open on Tuesday, September 4th.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Amherst Land Registration Office Closed Today.

The Amherst Land Registration Office on Havelock Street Amherst will be closed on Wednesday, August 29th due to smoke damage caused by a fire in the vicinity of the office. The Amherst LRO will be closed again tomorrow so restoration specialists can prepare the site for re-opening on Thursday.

As a result, Land Registration staff will work from the Access Nova Scotia Office located at the Superstore plaza at 126 South Albion Street, Amherst. Document drop off should be reverted to that location until 4:30 pm on Wednesday. Credit and debit card services are not available for in-person Land Registration transactions until the office on Havelock St reopens. Cash, cheques and money orders are accepted.

The Geomatics Association of Nova Scotia (GANS) is pleased to announce Geomatics Atlantic 2012. The conference will take place from June 12-14, 2012 at Saint Mary's University Halifax, Nova Scotia. This year's theme is " Looking Back Moving Forward" which celebrates 25 years of successful geomatics conferences in Atlantic Canada.
