Announcement of Opportunity: Developing Regional Atlases for Decision Making

GeoConnections is soliciting proposals to develop online regional atlases that will increase the availability and use of distributed geospatial data content on the Internet and support the decision-making processes of specific end-user groups. This announcement of opportunity (AO) is focused on regional atlases that support one or more of GeoConnections' four priority areas: public health, public safety and security, environment and sustainable development, and matters of importance to Aboriginal peoples. In addition, the proposed regional atlases must make use of standards endorsed by GeoConnections and of technologies that form part of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure.
