The designations C.G.(C) [Certified Genealogist (Canada)] and G.R.S.(C) [Genealogical Record Searcher (Canada)] identify members of the G.I.M.; the designation P.L.C.G.S. [Professional Learning Certificate Genealogical Studies] identifies members of the N.I.G.S. These designations confirm the professional qualifications of these individuals, who are all members in good standing of their respective organization.
